An exceptional packaging of Elektronika BK-0011, characteristic to the Soviet times – in cardboard boxes, deprived of any signs of colourful marketing known from the West.

Power Supply
STS-15/3 – this power supply was manufactured by a Polish company ImCon.

PSU Board

The PSU needed to be supplied with 42V AC. It was a standard in Soviet Union for installations in schools. Non-standard sockets and plugs were used for this voltage, called U-87-RB or RP-2-B – items number 10 and 11 on this page.

It is possible to connect +5V directly to the computer, but to keep the setup in an original shape, I built a step down converted from 230V to 42V AC using a toroid transformer.

Network Interface KMK 2.165.004
This interface allowed to connect the machine to a school network called ШКОЛОК-0011 supporting transmission at 57600 baud.

The terminal box seems to be constructed to link to the cable infrastructure and for example attached to a wall.
