What manufacturer today would make sure space for your rubbers was included in the design 🙂
Very nice rare piece of kit BTW!
That’s interesting; the CE161 program module contains a program of mine. An early version, later it became a printed sticker. Geometry 3.0N is a Dutch-language version of software used for programming CNC machines. Essentially, it is a precursor to the current CadCam. It dates back to 1984-85
That’s exciting. I bought this computer at a local auction and I have no idea of its history. Do you know how to run the program? I might give it a try.
“Yes, I know. Fortunately, I still have the manual because after 40 years, it had faded from memory a bit. The computer must include the module in the CE-150 printer. When you turn it on, it will probably say [new0:check]. Type NEW0 [enter], press the mode button until the mode is set to run. When you turn it off and on again, the printer will initialize. Then, you can access the program menus with [DEF][(key)]. [DEF][Z] will clear the memory. If it does that, something is working. I was looking for pens and found your site. Meanwhile, I have my unit working again, albeit with some faulty pens. In which country are you located?”
I am in Poland. I will try your guide later when I dig out the device. Thanks.
