Chassis Without Boards
When making repairs, please mind that Sony KV-1300E TV has a “live chassis“. The chassis and all parts of the circuitry can be under the mains voltage, when plugged into the power socket.

The original wooden furnishing of the cover case was damaged and needed repairs. Because I did not enjoy the wooden look of it I decided to paint it all black, which is visible on the pictures of the reassembled TV set.
